Alistair Tidey
Alistair founded HRDC over 25 years ago and has led every major project the company has delivered. His career began with Universal Concepts, a global manufacturing business that became the world’s largest producer of artificial Christmas trees — giving Alistair an unrivalled understanding of large-scale factory production, quality control and international supply chain management.
That manufacturing expertise became the foundation of HRDC’s competitive advantage: the ability to design, specify and procure bespoke hotel furniture directly from factories in China and Europe, with full control over quality, cost and programme.
Alistair has personally overseen FF&E programmes for Radisson Blu, Kempinski, Club Med, TUI, Park Inn and Clarion among others, and brings to every project a hands-on approach, deep brand relationships and a commitment to delivering on every promise made to the client.
Remy Camoin
Remy is one of Europe’s most experienced hotel design specialists, with a career spanning more than three decades and projects across five continents. He began at Walt Disney Company in California, managing the development of the Disney hotel and resort and the 1,000-villa residential compound at Euro Disneyland Paris.
He subsequently led major projects for Westin Hotels & Resorts before becoming Director of Worldwide Architecture and Development for Club Med — where he was personally responsible for all new resort development and renovation programmes globally, overseeing the selection and management of architects, interior designers, lighting designers and F&B consultants across the entire Club Med portfolio.
Remy has worked with HRDC since 2008 and brings to every project an exceptional depth of knowledge in hotel design — from strategic concept all the way through to the smallest detail of specification and finish.
